A Magical Power Journey and Deep Visioning Quest in the Big Horn Mts, Medicine Mountain, Wyoming
July 29-August 5, 2008
We are calling together a Circle of Power for Deep Visioning Visiting the Sacred Medicine Wheel, the wisdom in these ancient bones
of the Earth will be allowed to unfold in you...through Toltec Dreaming,
Traditional Ritual, Vision Questing and Teachings, in a site that
has been the visioning grounds of native peoples for thousands of
years. It is said that the original travelers who crossed the Siberian
land bridge heading southward travelled through this valley, later
becoming the Toltecs, Aztec and Hopi. Explore the guidance of the
Natural World and share the wisdom of the ancestors
We begin and end the week gathered in a circle to work deeply together...and our journey includes 2 days solo in the wilderness for inner reflection in the majestic beauty of Medicine Mountain...we will ascend to the Medicine Wheel, at 9600 feet, and later create our own sacred circle for visioning in the adjoining valley at 8,000 feet. When we are not out in nature, we will be lodged in comfortable accomodations. Teens to elders are welcome... Our time together will include many tools of transformation, awareness and intent to support you in allowing your loving, your passion, your Being, your heart's desire to deepen and unfold...clearing obstacles...facing fears and self imposed limitations...deeply embracing the whole of you...inner listening to what your soul has been trying to tell you...allowing the expansive awareness of each present moment to inform your life's creation...clarifying intention and action to manifest your new dream. The Sacred Medicine Wheel is located high on a mountain in the Big Horn National Forest of Wyoming. It is a shrine which appears to represent the sun, with six mounds of rocks around the wheel, perhaps standing for planets. The wheel has a circumference of 245 feet with 28 spokes, connecting an inner and outer rim, rather than the traditional Four-direction wheel..and lore suggests it may have been an early observatory marking the turn of the seasons. This magnificent place of mystery and power we are honored to share... Cost: $695. plus the cost of your meals Travel Arrangements: Fly to Sheridan, Wyoming, or drive to Bear Lodge
in the Big Horn Mountains (about an hour west of Sheridan), or fly
to Cheyenne Wyoming... For questions and to reserve your space Contact: Deborah Lord,
